  2. After a two-second pause, see their words, an English translation, and three reply choices.
  3. Choose a reply or type your own. Repeat replays the saved audio.
  4. Tap Listen for their next turn.

Let the other person know you are using AI transcription. The microphone stays off while your reply plays. Leaving this tab or locking your device stops listening and playback. Internet is required; usage is billed to your own OpenAI API account.

You choose what to say

Tap Listen for each turn. It waits for speech, then pauses after about two seconds of silence. Tap Pause listening to stop capture early.

The microphone stays off while the app prepares or plays your reply. Repeat uses the last saved audio without another speech-generation request.

Your saved API key is encrypted on the server and belongs to your Google account. Conversation history and audio are not saved to disk. Audio/text are sent to OpenAI for processing; its service data handling applies.

Your OpenAI key

Use your own OpenAI API key. API usage is charged to your OpenAI account. A ChatGPT subscription does not cover this usage.

Create or manage an OpenAI API key

Choose the same openai-key.json file used on Android, then press Save my key.

Saved encrypted on the server, never shown again. Saving checks the key’s format; OpenAI access and billing are checked when you use the app.
