FOREST ADVENTURE - WOODLAND LIVING - BOAT CONTROLS FIX

Right-click the ZIP, choose Extract All, then open ForestAdventure.exe.
Keep all accompanying files together. Earlier ZIPs remain separate.

CONTROLLER
A begins. Left stick walks; a lighter push walks slowly. LT walks briskly.
Right stick looks. LB brings the camera behind you.
X opens the bag. Up/Down chooses axe or rod. A equips. B/X closes the bag.
A/RT casts with the rod at the lake or stream. When a fish bites, HOLD A
for about 2.5 seconds to reel it in. You may release and continue holding.
The fish will wait; there is no tension meter or fish-loss timer. B cancels.
A at the built campfire cooks and eats 2 fish to restore Food.
A inside the cabin lies down on the floor for a five-second nap.
The nap restores Sleep, and the traveler stands up automatically.
RT/A swings the axe at a tree. Four separate swings leave a six-log pile.
A collects the pile for 6 wood. A builds at marked sites.
Fire: 6 wood. Cabin: 75 wood. Lakeside dock: 50 wood. Boat: 40 wood.
Follow the lake spur to the dock building sign. Build the dock first,
then the boat at that same shore sign. Walk down the continuous wooden ramp to its far end; A boards.
Already built a dock or boat? Both carry over automatically with no extra wood cost.
In the boat, stick up rows forward; down reverses. Left/right turns, even while
stationary. Right stick looks. Looking around does not change the boat controls.
A equips your rod and casts. B cancels fishing; you can then row again.
Row near the end of your dock and press B to step out safely. No precise alignment needed.
Y opens the map. Start pauses. While paused, A/B resumes, X returns to
the trailhead, and Back/Select exits. Returning to the trailhead also moors the boat.

KEYBOARD / MOUSE
Space begins. WASD/arrows walk. Hold right mouse to look. Shift walks briskly.
C recenters. I opens/closes the bag; Up/Down selects; Enter equips.
E/F/left click casts with the rod; HOLD E/F/left click to reel. Q cancels.
E cooks, rests, collects, builds, or boards, depending on what is nearby.
Left click/F/E swings the axe. In the boat: W or Up goes forward, S or Down
reverses, A/D or Left/Right turns. E fishes. Q steps out near the dock, facing any direction.
If you bump the dock, hold S or Down to back away a little.
M/Tab opens the map. P pauses. R while paused returns to trailhead.
Escape exits. F11 toggles fullscreen.

YOUR WOODLAND LIFE
Food and Sleep begin full after the cabin is built, including older saves.
Food lasts about 20 minutes of active play; Sleep about 30 minutes.
Food waits until a campfire is available, so you cannot be stranded without cooking.
Empty Food stops brisk walking and chopping. Empty Sleep stops brisk walking.
Normal walking, fishing, cooking and resting remain available. No dying.
Menus, loss of focus and closing the game do not drain the meters.

After collecting a tree's wood, it takes two REAL hours to grow back.
That time includes time with the game closed. Three 40-minute growth intervals
are tracked, but the stump stays visually unchanged until the tree is mature.
Mature trees return on a later visit or when you are at least 30 metres away.
They cannot be chopped early. Uncollected wood piles wait for you.
Older harvested stumps begin their first regrowth period with this update.
Bird calls and woodland air are a little louder in this version.

Wood, tools, trees, buildings, fish, Food and Sleep save automatically on this
computer. Existing saves carry over. The boat is safely moored when you reopen.
Another computer uses its own save; copying the ZIP does not transfer progress.
The game keeps a backup save. Beds, stoves and NPC recipes remain future additions.

Character: Polytope Studio Peasants Free.
Walking: Explosive's free Crafting Mecanim animation pack.
Environment and gameplay integration created for Greg. New asset spending: $0.
