Why I built Conversation Bridge

I've had strokes. They left me with vascular dementia and trouble speaking. I know what I want to say, but the words don't always come out fast enough or clearly enough to keep up. I built this app for people like me, and for deaf people, who face the same gap from the other side. For us it's speaking. For them it's hearing.

Step 1

Tap to listen

The app hears what the other person says.

Step 2

Read it

Their words show up on your screen as text.

Step 3

Reply your way

Tap a quick-response button or type your own answer.

Step 4

Be heard

The app speaks your reply out loud, so you're understood again.

Who it's for

Stroke survivors and others who have trouble speaking. Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. And the family, friends, and caregivers who want to keep talking with them. The APP is free, no ads after install, the OpenAI part will vary depending on use. We have no affiliation with OpenAI, other than as a user. Requirements: Internet Connection, some users may need a microphone depending on use needs and quality of phone microphone. My mic isnt more than 6" away better microphones might do better.

Conversation Bridge is free. OpenAI API usage costs money separately from a ChatGPT subscription.
