Requirements & Microphone Tips

What You'll Need

  • An internet connection
  • A compatible Android device or web browser
  • A working microphone
  • Your own OpenAI API key
  • Microphone permission enabled for the app or browser

🎤 Microphone Recommendations

Your phone's built-in microphone may work well, depending on your needs and surroundings.

In testing, keeping the microphone within about 6 inches of the speaker produced better results.

A better external microphone may improve sound quality and allow greater distance. For best results, try to reduce background noise and position the microphone close to the person speaking.
